I began learning Mandarin Chinese in the 5th grade. Since then, I've always liked Chinese and I decided I truly wanted to learn it as a third language. I went on to take honors and IB classes in it, which is an advanced program my high school offered. Though I still have a lot to learn, I really love the language itself and the culture of China.
So, when we were tasked to make a restaurant themed around a certain country and their foods, I picked China. However, for this project, I wanted to focus on modern day China while also integrating more traditional aspects. This led to the sleek yet cultural design you see throughout.
